Johan Friso prolongs Junior Class title
Junior Drum Corps Johan Friso prolongs its European Junior Class title. The junior corps from Middelburg - The Netherlands topped the Junior Class Finals at the Parkstad Limburg Stadium by staying ahead of Jong Jubal (Dordrecht - The Netherlands) with 0.05 points. The French corps Kadoudal surprised with a third place.
The scores from Kerkrade and Dordrecht clearly show that Johan Friso and Jong Jubal are evenly matched. Two weeks ago, Jong Jubal stayed ahead of Johan Friso at the DCN Championships by just a tenth of a point. This time the roles were reversed. The jury awarded 80.80 points to Johan Friso, and Jong Jubal was got 80.75 points.
Kadoudal from Quiberon - France, is making steady improvement. Last year, the French junior corps entered the DCE Championships for the first time, and this year they came back for a higher score. They beat last year's score by a whopping 13 points (76.75), winning them bronze in the Junior Class.
Jong Beatrix came fourth (72.05), followed by the debuting Ravens from Athlone - Ireland, they got a promising score of 70.10. Confetti from Goes - The Netherlands came sixth Goes (56.90). The Junior Class recap can be found here.
