Submit a Cinema link and win a DVD
Drum Corps Europe is launching a special offer in collaboration with Hudson Music. Anyone who submits a link to a new video clip on the Internet between now and 31st January has the chance of winning one of five DVDs entitled 'Jeff Queen Playing With Sticks'.
In the initial weeks after introducing our 'Cinema' section we received a considerable number of tips. The section is a great success and several thousand fans have already visited our film page. Cinema editors Mark and David Baden are constantly searching the Internet for new films, but tips from visitors are also welcome.
Everyone who sends in at least one film link between now and 31st January will stand a chance of winning one of the five DVDs. The approximately four-hour DVD will present essential hand techniques and a detailed analysis of the Moeller and Velocity strokes. Jeff Queen demonstrates how to apply these techniques to flams, diddles, rolls, and hybrid rudiments, talks about timing, and much more. Jeff Quen is an original cast member of the Tony and Emmy award winning Broadway Show Blast where he was a solo performer and battery instructor from 1999 - 2003.
