On the Road 2008 preparing for another great week

Three corps have confirmed their places so far for the 2008 tour:
Poynton Commodores, Warwik Girls and Northern Star. The event will start with all corps arriving in to Devon on Sunday 27th July. Three corps have confirmed their places so far for the 2008 tour:
Poynton Commodores, Warwik Girls and Northern Star. The event will start with all corps arriving in to Devon on Sunday 27th July.

The performances schedules are as follows:
 
Monday 28th July (afternoon) - Dawlish Warren
Wednesday 30th July (evening) - Teignmouth
 
The corps will then travel to Cornwall on Thursday 31st July and settle in to their respective accomodation venues. The proposed performances scheduled in Cornwall are as follows:
 
Friday 1st August (afternoon) - NewQuay
Saturday 2nd August (morning) - Truro
Saturday 2nd August (evening) - Perranporth

"The week will also give opportunity for individual corps rehearsals as well as social events together like swimming, football and BBQs", On the Road Director Bob Girvan says. "If last year is anything to go by those members taking part will have a wonderful time on holiday and enjoying their hobby of performing arts exhibiting to members of the public how the youth of today can be seen in a positive light."
 
Girvan continued, "If anybody happens to be on holiday in the area please let yourselves be known at the events and enjoy the experience with these guys."
