No show for the Devils this year
The Devils from Witzenhausen - Germany will not perform a show this year. After internal deliberation, the German corps saw no alternative but to take a year-long 'time out' from show performances, partly because of high costs.
The Devils will be celebrating their 20th anniversary and preparations are in full swing. However, the costs of the celebration are high, so the corps has had to make some tough decisions. The Devils will only do commercial performances in 2011, in order to raise enough money for the anniversary. Participation in contests and DCE Championships will not be possible this year.
The Devils fully intend to participate in competitions again next year.
