Pegasus 2011: 'Through the Eyes of a Woman'
Pegasus have embarked on a new journey for the 2011 season and have worked with an entirely UK based design staff, drawing on the wealth of experience from existing in house talent as well as taking advice and guidance from some of the best designers in the UK.
In the 70th anniversary year of the Battle of Britain, the Pegasus Open Class production salutes the often unsung heroes of the Second World War, the women that played an important role during such difficult and often terrifying and emotional times.
Pegasus' Chairman, Andy Hewlett comments "We are extremely pleased that we have been able to take this important step for the organisation, and to start to believe in and to develop further our own staff base this year. In previous years we have relied heavily on buying a package from outside of the UK and then trying to adapt this to suit our performers, which is often a very difficult task."
The prgramme of the Pegasus Junior Class unit is called 'Hairspray'. Due to their hugely successful season last year as runners up in Cadet Class, Pegasus have moved this talented young group into Junior Class for the first time this year. This year the Pegasus Cadets consist of a new group of children who are all novices (with the exception of one) at Winterguard. Their show has the title 'Hocus Pocus'.
