More Parlour Sessions coming
Further to the recent update about Parlour Sessions, DCE Adjudication Manager Douglad Caldwell has details on the sessions for the remaining contests in 2011. Due to the length of a few contests, there are no sessions scheduled for DCN Championships, DCUK Championships and DCE Championships.
As part of the Judges pre-briefing event to a contest, a Parlour Session is held where a judge will research a relevant topic and lead a discussion. The session usually commences 75 minutes for the start of a contest. "As is the past, I am very happy for instructors/designers to attend this part of the briefing", says Douglas Caldwell. "I am aware that most of your are busily preparing for your own performances, but I welcome your attendance if able to do so. Please could you contact me prior to the day, to give me an approximate indication of numbers."
