Senators 1000 days unbeaten
Today, The Senators Drum & Bugle Corps from Eistleigh - UK has reached a milestone. It has been 1000 days since the Open Class corps was last beaten in DCUK competition.
On Finals night 2002, The Senators were beaten into second place by Southern Aurora after the two corps had been nip and tuck all year. The corps have come first in all DCUK shows that they have competed in since then, with winning gaps ranging from 0.6 points at Alexander Stadium in 2003, to 14.5 points at the last show in Aldershot.
The Senators percussion section, who won on Finals night 2002 now have a 1001 day unbeaten run. This is surely testament to the consistent efforts of the staff, writers, members and management of the Senators organisation that such a successful competitive run has been achieved.
