Kidsgrove Scouts post 2010 review '100 Years'
This year has been a very succesful year for the Kidsgrove Scouts organisation. Corps Director Rob Swindells wrote an extensive review of their centenary year.
The Kidsgrove Scouts celebrated their 100th anniversary in style. They took the DCUK title for the third year in a row, and became the DCE European Champions for the very first time, but above all they had a very succesful tour in the USA, earning 6th place in the DCA Open Class Finals.
"The 2010 season was a fantastic experience and achievement for everyone involved in the Kidsgrove organisation, there was an acknowledgement that every performance was a tribute to every member who had performed with the Kidsgrove Scouts", says Corps Director Rob Swindells. "The successes are measured in a wide variety of ways, but none more than looking towards the future and the next 100 years."
