DCE present at meetings of partner organisations
Representatives of Drum Corps Europe will be making their way to meetings of partner organisations DCN, DCUK and IMBA in the coming weeks. The corps will be able to ask DCE about topics related to DCE and the DCE Championships.
Last year, Drum Corps Europe decided not to proceed with the European Symposium but to attend the annual meetings of its partner organisations instead. This way, DCE hopes to have direct contact and to exchange thoughts with more corps. In the coming weeks, meetings are planned with Drum Corps Netherlands, Drum Corps United Kingdom and the Irish Marching Bands Association.
Questions about the DCE Competition Manual will also be answered, but topics which are specifically concerned with the judging panel will be referred to the Judges College. During the Judges College weekend, part of the day will be allocated to discussions between instructors and the DCE judging team.
