It was a busy weekend, and more specifically a busy Sunday just gone, for all the main protaganists in the UK drum corps scene with shows on both the BYBA and DCUK circuit.
In Stafford, BYBA's Brass Explosion show saw Northern Star return for the second half with a much improved show from the first half. A new opener, new details and a great sound saw them beat their closest rivals on the day, Poynton Commodores, by 6 points and taking all but one of the feature captions.
In division 1 at the same show there was a clear split between the captions between 37th Kingswood and Trinity High School. Ultimately 37th Kingswood triumphed byt taking four of the captions and finished almost a full 3 points ahead.

In DCUK the action was at Eastleigh, home to the current European Champions, The Senators.
