Lots of interest in the DCE European Championships
The registration period for the DCE European Championships 2013 is now closed. Many have expressed an interest in the event, with more registrations than places available.
The registration period for the DCE European Championships 2013 is now closed. Many have expressed an interest in the event, with more registrations than places available.
22 corps can participate in the DCE European Championships. Like last year, that number has been exceeded, meaning that there will be a selection process based on the criteria described in the terms for participation.
"We are delighted by the enormous interest shown," says DCE Chairman Marcel Matthijsse. "We regret that we don't have enough free spots for all corps. But we are sure that we will once again have a fantastic line-up. Drum corps fans can feast their eyes and ears again next year."
On the 9th of December, corps will that did not get a place automatically will hear whether they have been given a wildcard for the DCE European Championships.
