Millennium takes fifth Italian title
Millennium Drum & Bugle Corps has taken the fifth Italian IMSB Championship title last Saturday in the Brianteo Stadium. Amaseno Harmony Show Band became second and the Giuseppe Verdi Marching Showband ended up in third place.
Millennium had a good weekend. On Friday night they became second in the WAMSB International Championship, beating corps like Bishop Grandin Marching Ghosts, Jubal Drum & Bugle Corps and Amaseno Harmony Show Band. The performers had to deal with a massive storm during both nights, causing delays on the time schedule and problems for the performers on the field.
During the Italian Championship a new competition manual was used, based on the DCE Competition Manual and warmly recomended by Millennium. "Analysing scores and recordings will help Italian bands to work on writing and performing a better show in the years to come", the corps stated.
