DCE contest Dordrecht: 14 corps in competition
The Drum Corps Europe contest in Dordrecht (September 3, 2005), has reached its limit of participating corps. La Vaillante from Saint-Quentin has signed up for the contest, claiming the last available spot for that show. The Dordrecht contest will feature 14 corps in competition.
Three out of the four DCE events in 2005 have reached the maximum amount of corps entering the competition: Courtrai (June 25th, 22 corps entering, 2 corps on the waiting list), Dordrecht (September 3, 14 corps entering) and the DCE Championships (September 24th, 26 corps entering, 8 corps on the waiting list).
With over 60 performances in total, the Drum Corps Europe 2005 season will have the biggest corps line-up since the founding of the European drum corps organization in 2000. A complete and up to date list of corps entries can be found here.
