DCUK announces details of venues for 2007
Drum Corps United has announced the details of the venues for the 2007 drum corps season. The season will see three contests plus the DCUK British Drum Corps Championships.
The first show, 'Avon Alive', will take on Sunday 10th June at the Bath City Football Club ground at Twerton Park - Bath, and will provide an excellent launch for the new season. On Saturday 7th July DCUK will be moving south for the 'Southern Sounds' contest which will be held at Chelmsford Sports Centre in Essex. Whilst three weeks later the corps will travel to the north of the country where the Leigh Centurions Rugby League Club ground at Hilton Park in Leigh will play host to the 'Northern Renaissance' contest on Sunday 22nd July.
The season will come to an exciting climax with DCUK returning to the same venue as the 2006 Championships, the Burton Albion Football Club ground 'The Pirelli Stadium' in Burton On Trent for the British Drum Corps Championships 2007 on Sunday 16th September.
Full details of each event will be issued approximately 3/4 weeks beforehand and will also be made available on the DCUK website.
