2008 UK Winterguard Champions crowned
This weekend saw the winterguard season come to an end. All the hard work that these members have put into performing a small show in a indoor arena has now paied off for the champions who were crowned on Saturday.

The 2008 UK Winterguard Champions are as followed:
Open Class - NORTHERN ACADEMY
A Class - THE ACADEMY
Junior Class - GUARDSMEN
Cadet Class - SOUTHERN KNIGHTS RUGRATS
Indoor Percussion - VINTAGE PERCUSSION
Something new to this winterguard season was the introduction of the indoor percussion category. It has proven to be a success and hopefully more percussion ensembles will wish to compete next year.
For most of the members in the winterguard it is back onto the summer field they go as they return to their corps to prepare for the upcoming season.
