Tickets on sale at Drum Corps Rocks the Town
On Friday evening in the heart of Rotterdam, Drum Corps Europe will be selling tickets for the DCE European Championships. During the free event Drum Corps Rocks the Town a DCE stand will be set up opposite the Beurs-WTC where tickets for the Championships can be purchased. A minor change has also been made to the program: Distant Thunder will take the place of Northern Star.
Unfortunately, Northern Star had to cancel its participation in Drum Corps Rocks the Town at the last minute. The corps has informed DCE that they would not have had enough members to perform as too many of them are not arriving in Rotterdam until the Friday evening. Distant Thunder, who was on the waiting list for the event, will take the place made available.
Tomorrow evening, the public in Rotterdam will be treated to a splendid warm-up for the DCE Championships. Between 19:00 and 21:00, five corps will be giving a free concert performance from the steps of the World Trade Center. The Italian corps Millennium will be one of the performers, as will the British corps Distant Thunder, 6th Hove Scouts and Black Knights. Jong Avalance, a youth corps from Vlaardingen, will be the only Dutch participant.

Of course, drum corps fans are more than welcome to come and take a peek on the Friday evening! No tickets yet for the DCE Championships? You can purchase them on Friday evening during Drum Corps Rocks the Town and take them with you. On Saturday morning, the kiosk at Sparta Stadium will be opening at 09:30.
