Millennium announces 2007 program
Millennium Drum & Bugle Corps from Verdello - Italy have announced their new show program. The title of the new show is '1492: Mundus Novus' ('New World'). The corps will take the audience to the year when Columbus discovered America.
The show by Millennium will tell the story of a brave crew who sailed to the unkonwn - the story of Columbus who discovered the new world. '1492: Mundus Nova' consists of five parts: 'Preparation of the Caravels in Palos', 'The Endless Sea', 'Fear As Night Falls', 'Culture Collide', and 'Stormy Seas / Return to Europe'. Millennium's show will reflect the open sea, the sudden storms, the exhaustion, and the mood changes of the crew during the long trip.
The design team has completed the program and the members have been working hard during the winter months on the music and the drill. They are looking forward to performing their new show at the DCE European Championships in Rotterdam next September.
