New Concord show based on Frank Sinatra
Concord Drum & Bugle Corps has announced that their 2005 production will take the corps in a completely new direction. To begin their next 20 years, they will be performing a show based on the music of Frank Sinatra.
With a vast catalogue of music to choose from, it will be likely that the audience will go home whistling tunes of the 20th century's greatest artist. Some tunes will be well known, others may be less so, but all will be performed with the usual pride and passion associated with one of DCUKs longest serving orgainisations. Frank Sinatra (1915-1998) is considered by many critics to be the most important popular music figure of the 20th Century, his only real rivals for the title being Bing Crosby, Elvis Presley, and The Beatles.
Concord placed fifth in A-Class at the DCUK Championships 2004.
