Another good year for the DCE website
Once again, 2006 brought with it an increase in the number of visitors to the DCE website. The internet site of Drum Corps Europe, including the forums of drumcorpstalk.com, was visited almost 375,000 times.
"Visitor numbers are still rising", states webmaster Marco Janssen. "More and more people are finding the website, and they seem to be returning more often. Naturally, we're delighted with this." All in all, visitors requested a total of more than two million pages from DCE in 2006. The news section and forums remain the most popular areas.
When converting to daily figures, the DCE site receives an average of 1027 visits each day. This generated a total of 193 gigabytes of data traffic in 2006.
