US guard Spectrum attending WGI Euro Regional
The Spectrum Winterguard from The Southern Tier of New York State in the United States of America will be coming to the WGI European Regional in London England in 2007. Spectrum competes in the Independent Open Class in WGI. The Spectrum Winterguard from The Southern Tier of New York State in the
United States of America will be coming to the WGI European Regional in
London England in 2007. Spectrum competes in the Independent Open Class
in WGI.
Last year in their first year in Independent Open Class, Spectrum
were the Boston Regional Gold, Trenton Power Regional Silver, Syracuse
Regional Gold, Gold Medalist at the Mid York Championships and
Northeast Championships and a finalist at the WGI Nationals in Dayton
Ohio.
The guard was organised in 2001 as an offshoot of the Spectrum Drum
& Bugle Corps and has continued to prosper even as the parent
organisation went inactive. The members come from all over New York
State and New Jersey.
Executive Director, Benjy Van Kurin, says "We are very excited to come
to the WGI European Regional. This will add true meaning to the word
International in the WGI. We hope to make lots of new friends and fans
