DCA 2006 World Championship site launched
The 42nd Annual Drum Corps Associates World Championships will take place over Labor Day weekend in Rochester - New York. On the recently launched Championships website, tickets can be ordered with Visa or Mastercard.
All corps will meet in a single preliminary competition on Saturday, September 2 at 2.00 PM. The ten highest scoring corps will move on to the Open Class finals on Sunday night. Of the remaining corps, the top three Class A corps will qualify for the Class A World Championship.
The Open Class finals evening will kick off Sunday evening, September 3 at 6.00 PM with the Class A World Championship, followed by the Open Class Championship. The Class A and Open Class Champions will perform a victory concert immediately following the announcement of the scores.
