Remarkable performances at BYBA Individuals

Publish Date: 27 Nov 2007 - 557 views

The BYBA Individuals & Ensembles competition last weekend featured the largest number of entering bands so far in over ten years, beating last year's figures by almost ten percent. The day was filled with some remarkable performances.

The event was again run by Paul Cartright and his team. The culmination of highest scorers for each musical category (percussion, mallets, woodwind, wind) go onto the finale showpiece of the BYBA Young Musician of the Year, and the 2007 winner was a mallet performance by Aiko Tomatsu (Concord Drum & Bugle Corps).

A report of the day will follow soon on the BYBA website: www.byba.org.
