Jubal tops third DCE show of 2005
Jubal Drum & Bugle Corps from Dordrecht has topped the Open Class of the DCE show in their home town last night. The other winners are Showband Calypso from Zwevegem (A-Class), Harpe Davids from Zoetermeer (Percussion Class), and Jong Jubal from Dordrecht (Cadet Class). Northern Star was the biggest surprise of the day.
The DCE show in Dordrecht was completely sold out with about 600 people watching the wonderful performances. Northern Star jumped from a score of 58.825 in Kortrijk two months ago to 71.925 tonight, beating Juliana by more than three points. Northern Star took the Field Visual, Ensemble Visual and Field Brass captions.
In A-Class, Calypso from Zwevegem came in first. Second placed Willem Eggert managed to win the Music Effect caption. Harpe Davids from Zoetermeer topped The Percussion Class, beating Blue Angels from Roubaix by more than three points. Jong Jubal took top honors in the Cadet Class.
