Jong Beatrix going to DCE 2005 Championships
The Marching and Show Band Jong Beatrix from Hilversum - The Netherlands will take part in the DCE Championships on Saturday September 24th 2005 in Rotterdam. Due to the withdrawal of Fidele Vogelsanger from Gevelsberg, who have had to drop out of the event as a result of circumstances, a place has become available. Jong Beatrix have accepted the invitation.
Fidele Vogelsanger have regrettably had to inform Drum Corps Europe that they will not be able to take part in the DCE 2005 Championships 2005. They will be missing too many experienced members on September 24th to be able to present a solid performance.
Jong Beatrix was the next group on the waiting list for the DCE Championships. The performance of this Hilversum based cadet corps will be based on James Bond. The addition of Jong Beatrix, who are the current European Cadet Class Champions, brings the number of participants in the Cadet Class to four; the other contenders being Jong Avalance, Jong Jubal and the Showband Kids.
