Cadets take over the lead from the Cavaliers
The major DCI contest in Indianapolis - Indiana on Saturday was full of surprises for the top three. The Cavaliers were beaten by the Cadets, with Phantom Regiment defeating the Blue Devils.
Whilst the Cadets obtained points for the musical captions, the Cavaliers scored highly on visual effects in particular. One thing is certain: this year will see a tough battle for the DCI Division I title. The Cadets and the Cavaliers still seem to be the only real favourites for this year's title, with at least a three point lead over the other candidates.
Phantom Regiment topped the score of the Blue Devils on Saturday, establishing themselves in third place. The fight for this position is not only between Phantom and the Devils, as the Madison Scouts are also strong contenders for the bronze. Last Saturday, the difference in scores between these three corps was less than 0.3 points.
