The registration period for the 2012 DCE European Championships is approaching its deadline. Corps wanting to enter the European Championships can register until next Wednesday.
The registration period for the biggest European drum corps event will end on 1st December. In the event where more corps have registered than there are places available, nine so-called 'wild cards' will be distributed amongst corps that did not reach the top ten of the Premier Class or the top three of the Junior Class this year. The corps that did achieve this will be placed automatically, should they choose to enter.
The 2012 DCE European Championships will be held for the twelfth time next year. The first edition was in May 2001, when it was still held as an indoor event. The first outdoor Championships took place in 2003.
