The Company announces winter drumline 2012
The Company's 2012 venture into indoor percussion will see the European champions perform a show entitled 'Drop'. "Sit back, don't lean over the edge as we musically and visually change aspects in a downward direction, watch us descend from one level to another - we are prepared to go to a new low for this."
Craig Sherratt of The Company says: "When sometimes looking for the perfect conceptor theme we can find ourselves trying to find a story when a simple word will give us a good tale to tell. We are going to try to use visual images and musical motifs to represent all things associated and attached to 'Drop'. I'm excited to be again working with Andrew Markworth and Mark Pickles to bring to the floor this production."
"The 2012 Ensemble will perform at the top level of the European activity and it's my goal that we compete against ourselves from day one to be a better group every time we meet", Sherratt continues. "We will work hard but we
will also have fun and as long as everyone takes care of business this winter will be a great experience and also a fantastic building block towards the 2012 summer ensemble."
