First French DCE certified contest was a success
Marching Music France organised the first DCE certified French competition on 20th August. Three groups have entered the European Music Games show that was held in Quiberon. The contest became a success.
The participating groups were Academy'X in the Percussion Class (score 29.00), Show Music Band in the Show Band Class (score 32.00) and Kadoudal in Junior Class (score 52.40).
At 8 pm, 300 people were in the stand including some local administratives and politicians. The judges sent by DCE, with chief judge Marco Harder, appreciated the quality of the field. The judges did not only rank and rate the corps and bands, but also provided advice to the groups.
The board of directors of Marching Music France hope that more groups and corps will enter the event next year.
