IPE publishes 2011 Finals schedule
The schedule for the IPE European Championships has been published. Indoor Percussion Europe has introduced the timetable for the event. The European Championships for indoor drum lines will take place in the Belgian town of Tournai.
The day will start at noon with the International Percussion Class Prelims. Seven units are competing in this class: Percussion Unlimited, GOT Motion, DNG, European X, Unik Star, DrumSpirit and the Senators. After the Prelims event, the European Marching Percussion Class Finals will take place (with New Event Corps as the only participant) and the Concert Percussion Class (with Percussions de Tournai, Music Black Show, New Spirit and The Company).
The Finals of the International Percussion Class will start at 15.30 hours. Afterwards there will be an exhibition performance by the University of North Texas, sixteen times champion in the PASIC Indoor Drum Line Competition. The IPE European Championships will take place on Saturday 19th March in the Hall des Sports, 2 Avenue de Gaulle in Tournai.
