IPE season starts this weekend
Indoor Percussion Europe is ready to start 2011. On Sunday, the European indoor percussion organisation will kick off the season in the Belgian town of Dadizele with an Individuals & Ensembles competition, preview, symposium and party. IPE has published the time table for the event. The day starts at 2 pm with the Individuals & Ensembles for percussion. There are participants from three countries (France, Belgium and Denmark) and four different units will be represented.
After that, Percussion Unlimited from Loon op Zand - The Netherlands and DrumSpirit from Dadizele - Belgium will show the visitors how far they have progressed with their show program. The IPE Symposium will start at 4 pm, led by Erwin van Gemert and Marco Harder.
The day will end with the 'IP Party', where percussion performances of the WGI Championships will be shown on a big screen. The Kick Off will take place in the clubhouse of DrumSpirit on number 6, Nijverheidslaan in Dadizele and admission is free.
