Beatrix raises money with 'Guard Night'
The Beatrix Winterguard from Hilversum is organising a 'Guard Night' on the night starting on Saturday 20 November and ending on Sunday 21 November. They will attempt to keep flags and other equipment spinning all night to raise enough money to be able to participate in the WGI Championships in April.
Beatrix organised a similar initiative in 2009, but this time it will be on a much bigger scale. Besides the achievement the Beatrix guard is aiming for between 8 pm on Saturday and 8 am on Sunday, there will be much more for visitors to experience. For a small fee, visitors can indulge in a massage, haircut or a wax treatment by beauty specialists.
Anyone who wishes to make a (financial) contribution is welcome to come along in Beatrix' clubhouse on the Neuweg 357 in Hilversum on Saturday from 8pm.
