DCI ships first-ever Blu-ray disc
Drum Corps International has announced the release of its first-ever high definition production of World Championship performances on Blu-ray disc. The retail price of this landmark edition is $119.
"The stunning collection of the 12 finalist performances from the 2009 DCI World Championships was designed to satisfy even the most serious home theater enthusiast", DCI states on their website. According to producer Tom Blair, "I'm incredibly pleased with the way this has turned out. I haven't been this excited about a product in a while. It's striking the first time you see it, even to someone who has had HD for a few years at home, and even with high expectations."
The price of the disc is $119, however if you've already purchased the standard definition 2009 World Championships DVD set, you'll be able to get this set for only $99 if you order before June 1st.
