Blue Knights Alumni to host 'Alumni Biergarten'
The Blue Knights Alumni Association is hosting an 'Alumni Biergarten' at Invesco Field at Mile High during World Championshiops. All drum corps fans are welcome. You must bring proof of age to purchase alcohol.
This special area will be open one hour before show time and will include separate restrooms, tables and chairs, beer and food vendors, and a television feed so you won't miss a moment of the action. You'll also get a full parking lot view for warmup-watching.
Tickets are $5 per day or $12 for all three days. Bring a picture from your days in drum corps to donate and receive a $1 off the ticket price, or be wearing your member shirt or jacket and also receive $1 off. Friday, Aug. 6, from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. will be dedicated to Blue Knight
Alumni, so come and test your Blue Knight Trivia to win special prizes.
The Blue Knights alumni association is hoping to start a new DCI tradition with this venture. It will be a place in the stadium for people to meet and hang out with fellow alums in a VIP area with private concessions and private bathrooms. (Source: dci.org)
