The Blue Lions no longer exist

2007 was one of the best years for the corps, as Blue Lions' executive director Cédric Paques points out, but the club was plagued by internal problems such as difficulties in finding a good rehearsal space. The involvement of members also left much to be desired. The Blue Lions started in 2008 with 58 members, but by the end of the year this number had decreased to below 30.
According to Paques, the biggest disappointment was the fact that the Blue Lions were never able to participate in the European DCE Championships as a drum & bugle corps, something the French worked towards. The corps director warns that the French mentality has to change, because otherwise other French corps risk having to close their doors too.
The Blue Lions were a very successful drumline in DCE and CGN. They won the DCE Marching Percussion Class in 2001 and 2002.
