13 corps register for DCUK within one week
Registration for the 2012 Drum Corps United Kingdom season has now been open for one week and so far 13 corps have registered to take part, including a new name.
Corps registered so far are:
Open/A Class
Beeches - Great Barr, Birmingham
Black Knights - Gravesend, Kent
Kidsgrove Scouts - Kidsgrove, Staffordshire
Nexus - Biggleswade & Bedford, Bedfordshire
Phantom Knights - Warwickshire
Poynton Commodores - Poynton, Cheshire
Revolution Show Corps - Queensbury, West Yorkshire
Spirit Of Coventry - Coventry
Staffordshire Knights - Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffordshire
The 6th - Brighton & Hove, East Sussex
The Company - Barnsley, South Yorkshire
Junior Class
Concord AllStars - Sheffield, South Yorkshire
Kidsgrove Scouts Juniors - Kidsgrove, Staffordshire
DCUK has reported that all of last years competing Open Class corps have already signed up for 2012 plus we welcome one new name - Beeches - with indication that more are to follow.
There is still plenty of time to register by competing the online form and more details including show entries and the confirmed class structure (i.e. which corps have elected to compete in the Open Class and which corps the A Class) will be announced in the new year.
