NAPA to compete in WGI in 2010
Senior members of Northern Academy are currently in Chicago to meet close friends Michael Gaines, Andy Toth and Tommy Allen to go through some final details surrounding their plans to compete in the 2010 WGI Championships. The full details of the trip will be released very shortly, including which Class Northern Academy will be competing in.
Commenting on the venture, NAPA founder and chairman Paul Morgan says "For some time now we have been looking into the possibility of expanding our learning and competing in the WGI Championships, but our domestic priority has been resting with the WGUK circuit."
In 2009 unfortunately, the Championship Finals in the UK and the USA clashed and so any trip to WGI was going to force us to make a choice, which for NAPA meant staying loyal to WGUK. "This remains our priority and with the Championship dates being more accommodating for the 2010 season, it is now possible for us to continue with our plans to enter the World stage and compete at the World Championships."
