Succesful first edition of IPE Championships
Edelweiss, DrumSpirit and Unik Star are the first ever Indoor Percussion Europe champions. More than a thousand percussion fans enjoyed the climax of the IPE Championships in Wevelgem - Belgium.
The audience loved the performances, including the American indoor ensembles Matrix, Father Ryan and Top Secret Drum Corps from Switzerland. For the first time in history, two WGI indoor percussion ensembles were performing at one European event.
Father Ryan showed the audience what a young and talented group can do. With sumo wrestlers, bicycles and a (bull)fighter they got the crowed on their feet. Indoor Percussion Ensemble Matrix blew the audience away with a top notch performance.
