Isabelle Eggermont is a musician (playing piano, flute, mallet instrument) and a recognised cabaret style singer. "The first time I saw drum corps was in the States when I was studying there, from 1994 to 1998)", Isabelle says. "I was amazed by the style of music and also by all the other aspects of drum corps like the choregraphy and colour guards."
When she came back to France she never thought she could find such groups here in Europe. But in 2002 Isabelle saw a French group, Showband USA, later Unik Star. I joined the group playing mallet instruments, and was involved in the organisation until 2008 (instructor, international relations, drum major, web designer, treasurer, and other jobs).
Isabelleis currently playing the flute for a concert city band. "I am still very interested in the drum corps activity and that's the reason why I have decided to help DCE by being part of the web team."
Drum Corps Europe would like to welcome Isabelle to the web team!
