Mayflower tops first WGUK contest

Mayflower won the Open Class at the first Winter Guard United Kingdom contest yesterday in Grantham. They scored 75.9, 0.4 points ahead of Northern Academy. The Southern Kinghts became third.
Winners in the other classes were Northern Academy (score 69.4, A-Class), Guardsmen (score 74.4, Junior Class) and Mayflower Cadets (score 74.3, Cadet Class). 28 guards entered the field at this first WGUK show. Full recaps can be found at www.wguk.org.uk.
