InCorps presents 'Masters of Percussion'
On November 20, 2005, InCorps will organise 'Masters of Percussion' in Antwerp - Belgium. Together with Percussion super stars Bill Bachman and Nick Angelis (USA), the complete team of InCorps Percussion Clinicians will host this big percussion event. The event will feature the European Individuals & Ensembles for percussion, master classes for snare & tenor, basic percussion clinics, and demonstrations. The venue of this mega percussion event will be the International Arts Centre 'De Singel' in Antwerp - Belgium.
Bill Bachman has studied percussion performance at the University of North Texas and is a graduate of the Berklee College of Music. He has played quads in the University of North Texas' indoor drumline, and in the Cadets of Bergen County Drum and Bugle Corps. Bill's awards include Drum Corps International's 1st place percussion with the Cadets at the World Finals in 1994, the Percussive Arts Society's 1994 tenor individual competition runner-up, and 1st place at the Percussive Arts Society's 1996 Indoor Drumline Competition with the University of North Texas. Bill has instructed with many award winning groups including the Bluecoats, Blue Knights, and Carolina Crown Drum and Bugle Corps. He's the author of Row-Loff's Quad Logic, Rudimental Logic, and Bass Logic.
Nick was hired as the original featured performer/snare soloist for the Tony and Emmy Award winning Broadway hit 'Blast!'. He pent two years with the Boston Crusaders, and then moved to California to march with the Santa Clara Vanguard where he became the 1992 Drum Corps International Rudimental Snare Drum World Champion. In 1993 Nick marched with the award winning percussion section for the Star of Indiana and won the Drum Corps Midwest individual Snare Drum Title. In 1994, Nick performed during the inaugural year of The Star of Indiana's presentation, called 'Brass Theater featuring The Canadian Brass\, as a snare drum soloist. In 1995 Nick marched with the Blue Knights from Denver, CO.
