Tims Toms sponsors Drum Corps Europe
Tims Toms Percussion from Dordrecht can again be found at the DCE market place this year; this time as sponsor of the event. Plenty of special products will be on display at the company's stand.
Hans Tims is proud of the designation the company has acquired as 'Premier Marching Center'. Pro Mark is also one of the main brands to be found at the stand. In addition, Tims Toms also acts as a dealer for Pearl, Vic Firth, Vater, Andante, Vancore and Majestic. The drum set drummer can find products from Tama, Pearl, Jin Bao, Sonor, Premier, Peace, Osan and Yamaha.
Various special products such as the tenor sticks from Percussion Unlimited and the acoustic hot rods from Roberts complete their extensive range of sticks, possibly the greatest number of marching sticks in the Netherlands. Naturally, not everything can be on display at the stand, so Tims Toms invites everyone to come and visit the shop at Sweelinckplein 7 in Dordrecht.
Tims Toms has chosen to sponsor DCE because Hans Tims, a former drum corps musician and instructor, considers it important for both young and old to find a positive outlet in music. "An organisation like DCE makes sure that the standard of the corps is raised through competition. It is an enthusiastic group of people serving a worthy cause with an open and cooperative attitude. This is similar to what Tims Toms is aiming for in a different category", says Tims.
