German corps performs at rock and dance party
The night of Friday, May 12th, there was an annual student party at the University of Wilhelmshaven (northern Germany). Rock bands played on two stages the whole night. The show and drum band Blue Eagles from Lemwerder was invited to do a concert performance during this night between two performing groups.
The performance put the corps and the audience in a good mood. It doesn't happen often that people sing loudly to our songs. It was a musical mix that was new for everybody at the event. The party was sold out with 3,500 people.
This was an experience for the Blue Eagles that nobody will forget. I'm sure there are probably not many drum corps that can say they have played the pre-show of a rock band. (Text: dci.org)
