Distant Thunder will enter DCUK
In 2006 Distant Thunder will compete in three different competitions. The corps will enter BYBA Division 1, DCE Open Class and venture into drum corps via a judged performance at a DCUK show.
In May the corps will be taking its 50 strong membership to Lille in France for a pre-competition show camp and they are also to take part in a High Profile drum corps event (to be confirmed) in July. The corps is also beginning plans to compete in DCI in the near future.
The 2006 program of Distant Thunder is called 'CGI - Reality Is Not Our Business'. The show is based around the symphonic music from the popular Pixar and Dream Works movies.
