DVDs may include option of viewing top camera only
DVDs of the DCE Championships 2005 may possibly include an extra feature, whereby viewers will be able to choose not only the edited version, but also footage from the camera with a complete view of the show. Drum Corps Europe is looking into the possibility of this additional option.
For the third year in a row, Drum Corps Europe is releasing a DVD set consisting of all Finals performances of the DCE Championships. This DVD is available for purchase on Saturday, at the DCE help desk in the Sparta Stadium and, as of October, via the DCE website. These DVDs will be posted out until the end of December.
The option on this DVD, of watching a complete view of the show, will be an interesting feature for many drum corps fans. In the edited version, use of close-up shots means that the choregrapghy can only partially be seen. The addition of a complete view of the show eliminates that limitation.
