Launch of new DCUK website
Drum Corps United Kingdom (DCUK) has revamped its website. The new look is a big step forward compared to the old one, which was a bit outdated. British fans seem to like the new design.
Since the original launch of the DCUK website in 1996, it has become the hub of information for the drum corps activity in the United Kingdom. The British drum corps association felt that it was time to update the look and feel of this hub, reorganise some areas into more logical places and add a couple of new features.
DCUK has now set up a registration facility for the discussion group. An issue that resulted in big discussions in the past, because some anonymous were able to abuse the discussion group and guestbook of the DCUK website. Another addition is an online ordering facility for the merchandise and finals tickets which uses the Paypal system.
The British fans seem to like the revamped website. "Excellent site update. Got a shock this morning when I came to look at it. Thanks for the registration too. Hopefully this will put a stop to the inherent silliness that occurred here in past months", a drum corps fan said in the discussion group.
