Brand-new Drum Corps World website is now online
The redesigned and updated site for Drum Corps World has been completed. Nearly all of the content from the previous site (articles, scores and historical products) has been transferred and a portion of the photos from earlier in this decade.
"It was an enormous task that required considerably more time than anticipated", said publisher Steve Vickers. One of the primary features of the new site is that the current and back issues of Drum Corps World are now accessible from the front page by clicking on the most recent cover. Readers can reach the magazine, but no longer need to remember the previous Web site address.
Between 1st January and 20th November 2012, there were over 31,000 unique visitors and over 3 million pageviews. Drum Corps World has more than 29,000 subscribers. "My commitment continuing to provide a comprehensive overview of the worldwide drum and bugle corps activity has not diminished", Vickers added. "I thank each of you for continuing to support the existence of Drum Corps World."
The January issue of Drum Corps World has been released, with an article about the line-up for the DCE European Championships 2013 on the back cover.
