The Company lead rankings after win at Leicester

The Company won their first DCUK show of the year in Leicester and are top of the European rankings as a result. 

The first part of the European Music Games came to a close on Sunday July 16th as the DCUK show in Leicester saw performance levels continuing to grow and ranking changes taking place. 

The Company took their first Premier Class win in DCUK this year with their 2017 production "Tomorrow".  They increased their points by 3.95 from their last outing in Woking on July 2nd.  As a result, The Company sit on the top of the European rankings going in to the summer break. 

Kidsgrove Scouts also improved points-wise on the last contest and scored 76.90 with their performance of "Montages and Capulets". 

Visiting corps Starriders from Germany finished in third place with 67.90, which leaves them 4th in the overall rankings before the German Open on September 2nd. 

Scoring remained close in the middle of the group, with just 0.15 seperating Beeches and Cadence. 

The scores in Junior Class also increased, with Concord AllStars taking first place, just 0.60 ahead of Thurrock Marching Brass. 

The Soundsport series also continued in Leicester with Stafford Brigades being awarded a silver award, while The Company were awarded gold.
