Senators undefeated in the first half of the season
The Senators Drum & Bugle Corps from Eastleigh have been undefeated in the first half of the DCUK season. The last contest took place in Leicester, and became another win for the Senators. The Kidsgrove Scouts came in second.
Seven corps have entered the Open Class of the Drum Corps United Kingdom competition this year. Five of them were present in Leicester. The Senators took top honors with a score of 78.9. The Kidsgrove Scouts became second with 73.7 points, and took the Color Guard caption.
After the summer break, three more DCUK contests have been scheduled, starting in Grantham on September 4th. The DCUK 2005 British Championships will take place in Mansfield on October 1st.
