Cavaliers in the lead at DCI
Saturday evening, in San Antonio - Texas, saw a confrontation between all the 'big shots' at the Drum Corps International competition. Now in the lead are the Cavaliers, followed by The Cadets, Blue Devils and Madison Scouts.
The Cavaliers achieved a score of 91.775. Green Machine scored strongly on all sections, and only dropped points on Music Effect (fourth place). The Cadets follow with 91.150 points, with The Blue Devils remaining just under the 90 point boundary with 89.775 points. Particularly noteworthy: the Devils had to be satisfied with sixth place for the brass section, coming in fifth in percussion.
The Madison Scouts are still doing extremely well with a strong fourth place.
