For three days, the Asian jury members in Bandung - Indonesia worked hard to increase their knowledge, focusing on several specific aspects of judging. One of the themes was tape commentary: how to make a good tape with the right information expressed in the right way, so that an instructor can get the most out of it. All judges were also subjected to (re-)certification.
In Asia, the DCE jury system is valued for the its clarity and transparency. In recent years, competitions in Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia have made use of the DCE system.
